We recommend you do this when you send them their employment agreement to sign. Otherwise, you must give them the KiwiSaver information pack KS3 within seven days of them starting work.

Check these forms are complete and your employee has signed and dated them.

Place the copy of the completed KiwiSaver deduction form KS2 and KiwiSaver Information Assessment Form ESP29 on your employee's file.
Post the original copy of these forms to your pay centre.
Do not post the forms if you have assessed that your employee is not eligible: file them.
Your pay centre will start KiwiSaver deductions in the pay period after the cut-off date for which they receive the forms.
