Payroll reference group

We set up a payroll reference group in March 2008 to get advice from schools and the education sector about payroll.

This group meets every month to talk about business-as-usual payroll, and to give input into Novopay: the new payroll service.

The payroll reference group has representatives from:

• National Association of Secondary Deputy and Assistant Principals
• NZ Area Schools Association
• New Zealand Education Institute (NZEI Te Riu Roa)
• New Zealand School Trustees Association (NZSTA)
• NZ Secondary Principals' Council
• New Zealand Post Primary Teachers’ Association (PPTA Te Wehengarua)
• School Executive Officers’ Association (SEO)
• Secondary Principals' Association of New Zealand (SPANZ)
• Service and Food Workers Union (SFWU Nga Ringa Tota).

Many members of the group have direct payroll experience either in their current role or previous roles.
