We recommend you use your computer to type up payroll instructions. This is because handwritten information is often difficult to read.
Make changes clear
If you send through a change to information you have already provided to your pay centre, make sure you clearly note it is a change to that information. If you don’t, an overpayment may happen.
Get your employee’s date of birth
Although your pay centre doesn't legally require your employees’ dates of birth, we recommend you provide it. This is used for statistics and ensures your pay centre and your school comply with the Minimum Wage Act 1983.
