How to complete the 2009 Annualisation Agreement Termination Form for Non-Teaching Staff ESP25nt

Payroll administrators use this page to help them complete their 2009 Annualisation Agreement Termination Form for Non-Teaching Staff ESP25nt.

Field 8. Weeks worked this year

Some annualised non-teaching staff work during term breaks.

  1. Enter the dates your employee started and finished work each term. Do not enter an end date if your employee worked their ordinary hours during a term break.
  2. Example

Mary worked at your school every Tuesday. During term 1 she also worked her ordinary Tuesday hours during the term 1 break. In this situation, you would enter the:

    • start date Mary started working in term 1 but not the term 1 end date
    • start dates Mary started working in terms 2-4 and the end dates.
  3. If you enter a term 4 end date, confirm if your employee will have completed all working weeks agreed to in their annualisation agreement, by this end date. If you tick yes, payroll will pay them a lump sum based on the remainder of the annualisation period.

Field 9. Public holidays entitled to

Tick the public holidays that fell within a term break on days of the week your employee would have normally worked. You can copy these from your employee's annualisation agreement.

Example

Mary works at your school every Monday. Easter Monday is a public holiday that falls within a term break on a day of the week Mary would normally work. Mary is entitled to be paid for this public holiday.

Field 10. Additional paid holidays entitled to

Confirm if your employee is entitled to the additional paid holiday.

Example

Mary works at your school every Monday and Tuesday and is on the administrative pay scale. The day after Easter Monday is an additional paid holiday that falls within a term break on a day of the week Mary would normally work. Mary is entitled to be paid for this additional holiday. The day after Boxing Day is a Sunday, and because of this it is observed on the Monday. Mary normally works on a Monday so she is entitled to be paid for this additional holiday.
