About this form

Use this form to apply for a tutor teacher allowance (TTA) for teachers.

When to use this form

Use this form to apply for a tutor teacher allowance (TTA) for teachers who are:

• fully registered with a current Practising Certificate (PC)
• employed under the Primary Teachers' Collective Agreement or Area School Teachers' Collective Agreement only (principals and secondary teachers are ineligible)
• responsible for providing an advice and guidance programme to a provisionally registered teacher working towards full registration who is either:
  - a first or second year teacher employed for at least 0.80 FTTE; or
  - a first year teacher employed for 0.5 - 0.79 FTTE.
  

What you will need to complete the form

You will need the tutor teacher's and provisionally registered first or second year teacher's:

• MOE number
• personal details
• NZTC registration number.
