Pay increases apply to teachers, principals, caretakers, cleaners and groundstaff from 1 July. Make sure you have enough money in your bank account on 14 July for bulk grant pay increases.

Maternity grant form

From 17 June, use the new Maternity Grant Form ESP27 to pay a maternity grant to an employee.

We have developed this form because many schools have:

  • asked us how they pay the maternity grant
  • told us that a form would be useful.

The Maternity Grant Form ESP27 will be available on 17 June.

Forms: new version coming

We’re making changes to all forms. Changes will include:

  • things you’ve suggested that’ll help you, like increasing font-size and adding in extra text, so they are easier to read and understand
  • adding in post codes to save you time when you post your forms
  • information that we need as we get ready for Novopay
  • fields that our auditors and the Secretary for Education have asked us to add.

We’ll tell you more about it later this month.
